1. Robust Neoprene Wellington Boots "Nizza"
First-class La Chasse® "Nizza" Wellington boots made of natural rubber. Fully lined with 4 mm neoprene (100% polyethylene) on the inside, making them very comfortable to wear – with an additional removable insole. Wellington boots with neoprene lining can also be worn in sub-zero temperatures. Calf width can be adjusted with an adjustable gusset. The shock-absorbing, grippy tread sole provides additional grip. What is natural rubber?
Milky latex, obtained from the rubber tree (Hevea), is the main source of natural rubber. Natural rubber is a material obtained by converting latex. As the name suggests, this elastomer occurs naturally and comes from the latex of certain trees and plants. After processing the latex, an elastomer with excellent mechanical properties is produced. It has excellent tensile strength, elongation, tear resistance, and elasticity. It has good abrasion resistance and excellent flexibility at low temperatures.
How do I properly care for my Wellington boots?
The lifespan of natural rubber boots depends on their use, storage, and maintenance conditions. To ensure a long lifespan of the footwear, it is important to wash the boots regularly with warm water after use. No harsh detergents or corrosive cleaning agents should be used, as they can shorten the lifespan of the boots! After washing, the boots should be dried naturally in a cool and dry environment. Forced drying (such as a heater or hairdryer) can damage the upper and lining material. Contact with aggressive liquids such as acids, oil, solvents, fuel, slurry, etc., will damage natural rubber if left untreated. It is advisable to protect the boots from direct sunlight, UV radiation, and heat. The Wellington boots must be stored in a well-ventilated place protected from extreme temperatures when not in use. Natural rubber boots must never be stored under heavy or sharp objects.
