The La Chasse® "Livigno" stalking boot is a comfortable, lightweight stalking boot made of velour leather - combined with Cordura®. Practical quick-release fastener with hooks and eyelets, soft padding on the high-stitched tongue and shaft, removable, anatomically shaped insole, robust, non-slip profiled cup sole, water-repellent thanks to Gritex® membrane. Instructions: How to properly clean & care for stalking boots & trekking boots!
Admittedly: Immediately after stalking, there are better things to do than grab a sponge and brush and scrub your shoes. But that's exactly what we should do! You can find out why and how in our instructions.
How do I properly clean my stalking boots?
1. Remove laces and insole: This prevents dirt from settling unnoticed in the small spaces.
2. Remove dirt from the surface and sole with a coarse brush: Tip: Take a small brush with you in your backpack or car. This way you can remove the worst of it immediately after stalking.
3. Clean shoes inside and out with lukewarm water: After a short soaking time, you can clean the shoes with a sponge or a soft (!) brush.
4. Let shoes dry thoroughly: No direct heat such as heating and oven! This can make leather shoes brittle and tear. Better: Stuff hunting shoes with paper towels or newspaper and put them in the boiler room or on the balcony.
What do I need to consider when caring for my stalking boots?
Leather hiking boots must be waxed regularly to keep them supple and prevent them from drying out. We recommend Sno-Seal® beeswax!
Why do I have to clean my stalking boots regularly?
Regular care extends the lifespan of hunting boots! Dried-on dirt attacks the material over time and the hunting boot will soon be past its prime.
If you clean your trekking boots after every tour, you also won't track dirt through the house or apartment. At the same time, you'll spare the nerves of every driver who is happy not to have to clean dried forest floor from the floor mats again.
What distinguishes the Gritex® membrane?
The membrane structure provides more protection against water and cold and keeps feet warm even on cold and damp days. To increase the protective effect, it is recommended to clean outdoor low-cut shoes before each wear and to treat the upper leather with Atsko Imprägnier spray (water-repellent silicone spray for shoes). This spray is available in our Oefele Shop. Dry the shoes away from stoves, heaters and other heat sources. Gritex® membrane - more comfort for your feet.

Shipping costs are incurred per order, regardless of the order value. The amount of shipping costs depends on where the package is to be delivered. For orders within Germany, we charge a one-time shipping fee of €6.95, regardless of the number and weight of items. This includes the costs for shipping, packaging, and packaging disposal. Returns are free within Germany. A free return label can be conveniently generated via the returns portal, either for self-printing or for showing a QR code. Return costs from abroad are to be borne by the customer.

Products available for immediate delivery will be shipped with DHL on the same day if ordered by 3 PM on weekdays. Within Germany, DHL delivers the package Monday-Saturday within 1-2 business days. If the ordered goods didn't fit (e.g., too small, too large, etc.), you are welcome to exchange them. Please reorder the desired size in the online shop. The unsuitable item can simply be returned using the return label and will be refunded to the original payment method upon receipt of the goods. For a free return within Germany, please use the return label, which you can generate yourself in the returns portal. A return from abroad is of course also possible if you sufficiently frank the package.
