Original AKAH leather goods differ from cheap mass-produced goods at first glance. All accessories are German brand materials. Swivels and pliers are supplied by the top German manufacturer Sprenger, zippers are Opti, rivets come from Wuppertal. Sewing is done with sewing threads from Ansbach, Bavaria.
All leather types come from premium tanneries with recognized eco-standards. The leather hides are not over-sprayed with dye. The natural grain is fully visible. Only high-quality core leather is processed.
The AKAH elk leather comes from Finland. The yak leather comes from small cattle farmers in Mongolia and is tanned in Finland. The bridle leather for dog leashes comes from Alpine cows. AKAH sources buffalo leather from a highly developed quality tannery outside the EU.
However, the guarantee for AKAH quality, which is world-renowned - unsurpassed - inimitable, is the AKAH saddlery and the AKAH hand-stitching. Already in the 1970s, the German leather goods industry shifted its production to Eastern European, African, and Asian countries. Not so the AKAH company!

Shipping costs are incurred per order, regardless of the order value. The amount of shipping costs depends on where the package is to be delivered. For orders within Germany, we charge a one-time shipping fee of €6.95, regardless of the number and weight of items. This includes the costs for shipping, packaging, and packaging disposal. Returns are free within Germany. A free return label can be conveniently generated via the returns portal, either for self-printing or for showing a QR code. Return costs from abroad are to be borne by the customer.

If the ordered goods didn't fit (e.g., too small, too large, etc.), you are welcome to exchange them. Please reorder the desired size in the online shop. The unsuitable item can simply be returned using the return label and will be refunded to the original payment method upon receipt of the goods.
