Original AKAH leather goods differ at first glance from cheap mass-produced goods. All accessories are German brand materials. Swivels and pliers are supplied by the top German manufacturer Sprenger, zippers are Opti, rivets come from Wuppertal. Sewing is done with sewing silks from Ansbach, Bavaria.

All types of leather come from premium tanneries with recognized eco-standards. The leather hides are not over-sprayed with paint. The natural grain is fully visible. Only high-quality core leather is processed.

The AKAH elk leather comes from Finland. The yak leather comes from small cattle breeders in Mongolia and is tanned in Finland. The fawn leather for dog leashes comes from alpine cows. AKAH sources buffalo leather from a highly developed quality tannery outside the EU.

The guarantee for AKAH quality, which is world-renowned - unsurpassed - inimitable, however, is the AKAH saddlery and AKAH hand stitching. Already in the 1970s, the German leather goods industry relocated its production to Eastern European, African, and Asian countries. Not so the company AKAH!
